Toot's Review

This is not your childs' Doctor Who book!

Being a huge Doctor Who fan myself, I was super excited when I recently received this beautiful updated hardback edition of Doctor Who: Who-ology Regenerated Edition: The Official Miscellany by Cavan Scott & Mark Wright.

My first thought when I gently cracked open this treasure was that this book truly belongs in every Doctor Who fan's collection and with all the knowledge, it probably should be found on the TARDIS itself in the library (see page 296, seriously there's a section about the on-board library in the book).

In all seriousness though, this book is definitely more geared towards the fans with lots of logistical questions. It really is the ultimate guide for fans that includes the answers to every question you might ever have about the longest running Sci-Fi show on TV. This is a beautifully bound 355+ page collection of everything Doctor Who - from a Who family tree to an easy-to-read episode guide, a Companion breakdown to the Doctor's favorite foods. Yes, there's also a monster section, tech talk and even a listing of Doctor Who show related songs. Seriously it is all in here!

With the easy to follow index and thoughtful layout, this updated version is not only beautiful but I guarantee you'll need it table-side when the next Doctor Who incarnation pops onto our screens this year.
