Toot's Review by Stacy Sabala

Noah is a warrior from another planet.  He and five others were sent to Earth to hunt down the colonists.  The colonists are criminals from his world.  The six have been on Earth for over two hundred years.  Noah has begun to accept the fact that they are never going back.  Their mission seems never ending.
His life changes when a journalist from the local newspaper calls for an interview.  Abby needs a story to keep her job.  She doesn’t care for her job but it pays her.  Her co-worker, James, creeps her out but she doesn’t have a choice.
Once Noah and Abby meet there is an instant connection.  Noah really likes spending time with her.  However he can’t lose sight of his mission.  He can’t get involved with her and lose himself completely.
Unfortunately things get dangerous when a colonist turns his sights on her.  The six warriors work to protect her and catch the colonist.  Many secrets come to light as Abby fights for her life and love.

This romance had a sci-fi spin.  The warriors and the colonists were from another planet.  I didn’t care for the start of the story when Noah was still on his home planet.  It was such an abstract concept that I didn’t really understand his life.  Once things got going on Earth for Noah, I was pulled in when I understood the plot and liked the setting. Towns in Nevada are familiar to me so I knew where things were.  I could picture it as I read it.  I liked the characters and the mission the warriors were sent on.  It will be interesting to see how the others fair after this book’s ending.  It was a great read.  I give it a 4 out of 5.
